Electro Polishing

Electro polishing is widely specified to enhance corrosion resistance on a wide variety of metal alloys. Although most commonly used on stainless steels, electro polishing offers corrosion resistance on other alloys as well. Due to the versatility and superior effectiveness, electro polishing is fast becoming a replacement process for passivization.

Metal Vibratory Finishing (Vibratory Polishing)

Vibratory finishing machines are used to de-burr products and remove sharp edges. They position material inside a drum filled with abrasive pellets and a substrate, then apply tumbling vibration to create a uniform random texture. The machine’s cycle speed and magnitude of vibration are usually variable, allowing effective treatment for a range of small- to large-sized parts.
